Broken Front Shock Mount Jumping My Carli Pintop 5th Gen!

I put Carli 3.25 King Pintop system on my 2019 when it was new.

I didn't do it to mall crawl but to run offroad. It's also my DD.

I don't drive it super crazy, but yes, I have jumped it several times.

Some think I'm crazy, but my truck is my money.

I noticed a slight squat the other day while hauling my trailer after a pop when I went over a cattle guard.

I was doing roughly 75 down a long dirt road the previous week and came out of a wash.

(I drive this frequently) they just graded it and cut this wash steeper than normal, and I probably got 2-3 feet of air.

The King shocks and Carli coils did their job + some and soaked it up way better than I thought, and it felt pretty good for jumping a large truck.

I'm guessing I broke the mount when I bottomed out.

I will either make new mounts or weld on the Carli ones.

This brings me to my question.

Does anyone have experience with air bumps, and are any kits available?

I also wanted to share my story and how well this Carli king suspension is.

It's expensive but worth the money; it rides better on-road towing, and of course, offroad is night and day.

Wow!!

I have welded up and made my own shock mounts before not a hard job, just time-consuming pulling tires, grinding off old welds, and making new on.

Glad to hear you were OK.

Having fun sometimes can get expensive.

I will most likely get the Carli ones and plasma these off and weld on new ones.

Get the Carli weld on shock mounts.

I haven’t seen bolt-on air/hydro bump stops for radius arm trucks.

Look into Boogie bump stops from Thuren fabrication.

They seem to be the next best thing to those.

I’d highly recommend a front axle truss if you continue jumping the truck.

Get the Carli weld on shock mounts.

Thanks, I will check them out, and I know i didn't think I landed too hard, but apparently, I did, but when I saw the broken mount, I was glad I didn't bend the axle.

A truss will be in the future.

No wonder these mounts are a weak point you can tell not even half the mount is welded to axle.

Slight cosmetic damage to shock glad the draft is alright.

I ordered the Carli weld-on front lower mounts, and I got the rear shock lower guards(I know won't add strength) but for the insurance when driving off-road.

I wish they would!

About 3 hours start to finish.

I also installed the CJC offroad rear shock guards for extra shock insurance.
