    2021 RAM 3500 - Gauge Wiring Options?

I ran a pyro gauge and put the gauge on my center console.

It's easy to find grounds, and I am sure I can find a 12v ignition source, but curious about where I should run the wire for the lamps in the gauges so they dim with the rest of the dash.

    Thanks.

Find the wire to your HVAC controls.

Should be the easiest place right?

My concern is the can-bus system; if it shows an additional draw and may cause problems, will the two gauges cause that much of a draw idk.

I found a splitter for the 12v outlet on the dash, but it wouldn't help with the dimmer.

I also don't want to splice into anything.

I wired the lights for my gauges into the head light switch interior lighting circuit. It dims with the switch.

For the power I tapped into an ignition on in the fuse box.
