WTB: Cheap Cummins 6.7L Head Bolt Kit?

Who’s got the best prices on a good head bolt kit?

I’m working on my engine now and believe that should probably be next.

I have a RaceME Ultra tuner, 5” turbo-back, EGR delete, throttle body delete, CCV delete, Banks Air intake, and a 9-Drive throttle controller.

I’m sure I probably went out of order on the way to build your truck, but I had no previous knowledge.

    So here we go.

Black Market Performance has head studs for $355.

Last year, they had a sale, and I got mine for $299.

Comparable to ARP 425's, which are $445.

If you aren't planning on going over 700hp, these will probably be the most affordable route for cheap insurance.

The ARP 625's are probably the best if you plan to build anything over 700hp, but those are $1600.

The problem with 625's is back ordered.

I'm waiting on a set from DDP.

I just got a set of Xotic studs.

The third parts tests for strength shows them to be equivalent to ARP 425.

My set was $278 to my door.

They have a higher grade set like the 625s but they are also back-ordered.

I’m not going over 500 hp, so basic set should be fine.

Just my. 02 I would not go cheap on head studs.

I am glad I did the 625's a few years ago.

    Engine parts/repairs are not cheap.

It sucks they are on backorder, and I imagine now they are much more expensive than when I bought mine.

IFG studs might be worth looking into.

Have high tensile options that are SUPPOSEDLY close to 625s.

It is used to be under $800.

2017 2500 Laramie: DRD Juiced, 5" TBE, Invisible EGR mod, BD Iron Horn 364sxe/1.0AR, 20x10 Hostile Sprockets, 33x12.50 General Grabber A/T, HID Conversion, Reverse Level 2" Drop CSS Rear Coils

Look at the video by power-driven diesel on IFG head studs.

Headstud shootout or something like that. Decent comparison for 625 and ifg

The first comment on that video states that the IFG studs are no longer available.

But a new group Exotic I think, is.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned them.
