3rd Gen Swap To 5 Inch TBE

I did a 3rd gen swap on my 2011 several years ago when I had issues with the stock turbo.

Now I have a 5" tbe ready to install, but the downpipe doesn't align with the turbo and is about 3/4 inches wider than the turbo.

Is there an adapter I could purchase, or will I need to use the 4" downpipe then connect to the 5" pipe at the bottom?

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

I think I'm going with a 3rd Gen swap, so I'll have that same problem.

    I already have 5" TBE.

    Thanks for asking the question

I could see it not lining up perfectly, but I feel like the 5" downpipe should have the correct 4" V-band flange on it since they are usually made to mate up to the stock turbo (in place of the 4" DP).

The iron horn kit uses the same cast elbow off the turbo as the stock turbo.

If your 5'' exhaust ties into the cast elbow and is not directed to the turbo, you should be good.

For the 68RFE trucks, it helps ALOT to unhook the downpipe at the hanger by the bell housing.

I fought mine for about an hour before I got smart and took it to lose.

If you have other questions or need a kit, let me know!

I'll be hitting you up soon.

I was going to get some other random stuff but didn't see it on the website.

Do you guys carry the coolant tanks, coolant bypass, grid heater delete, etc.?

Yes, sir, we carry about anything in any brand you want.

Just shoot me over a part number if you are looking for something specific.

If I can't get it, I will tell you where you can.
