Electrical Issue

Purchased 2014 Laramie Limited.

Rambox and tailgate locks are nonfunctional.

Wiring and solenoids are intact.

Upon further investigation, the hood lamp is unplugged and does not turn off if plugged back in.

The anti-theft system that powers the hood latch switch, the ram box locks, and the tailgate lock are all on the 40a fuse #14.

My theory is the previous owner had an issue with the factory alarm and found the plug that works all these items and disconnected it.

I'm going to look at the BCM and start following wires.

Does anyone have an idea where else to look? 40a fuse is.

It looks like your best bet is to follow the wires on pins #41 & #42 at the body control module to the storage bins.
