My 2015 68RFE has been rebuilt multiple times, and I have slowly replaced it piece by piece with billet.
I rebuilt it a few times, and a builder rebuilt it the last two times.
I have a hard jerk after it has been idle for a while, and some random times, it will jerk park to reverse or park to drive, or if I have to turn around in a tight area, park to drive to reverse to drive a couple of times.
The first time builder rebuilt it, I was having issues using all the 2C and 4C clutch packs from a short shift and short lockup tranny lockup were perfect for me but clutch material would come off after maybe six months due to truck weight and heavy foot.
So the builder popped in a few parts to add more space for more clutches, and I told him not to use GPZ clutches because there was junk and changed accumulator springs to keep it out of lockup longer lockup the clutches so he wouldn't have to keep rebuilding it.
So now 2nd to 3rd takes forever to lock up, and like I said, the hard shifts park-reverse-drive.
Would scars made in the overdrive drum cause these hard shifts between gears?
He sent me a picture last time of a broken drum he had just put in the first rebuild that he replaced the 2nd build because it was damaged; would this cause the issue.
Also, what is a good accumulator spring kit to get my power back?
