Cool What Front Coil Springs Or Spacers To Get?

    Guys/Vendors,

I was looking for advice on getting a leveling kit for the 2016 RAM 3500 dually.

I was looking at Thuren Fabrication soft ride springs 2.25in and shocks.

Does anyone have any input on these?

All information will be greatly appreciated.

The truck is a 2016 RAM 3500 Crew Cab Dually Chassis Cab 4x4.

I believe you are on the right track by not going with spacers and choosing top-quality springs and matching shocks.

The height is going to depend on your desired finished look.

Hopefully, others with more leveling experience will elaborate on the pros and cons.

I thought about spacers but went with an actual coil and shock upgrade.

Spacers are an excellent budget, but I feel like you get a better ride with actual springs.

I don’t have experience with Thuren, but I hear good things.

I ended up going with the budget rough country spring and shock.

I currently have no complaints except that it might be taller than a level.

I had to add a 1in block in the rear I’m happy with it!!

    Thuren won’t steer you wrong.

I ran his springs on my 3rd Gen and had him do most of the suspension on my 2nd Gen (everything except the radius arms and long travel airbags).

    I run 37’s with Thuren’s ~3” front spring and 5100’s.

I'm pretty happy with the ride for a 3/4t until I can swing the King 3.0 package.

I have a full thuren suspension upfront.

I left the stock springs in the rear because I tow a trailer.

You will be pleased with the thuren ride.

I run fox IFP shocks when they need to be replaced.

I will go with the king 2.5 tuned for the Thuren suspension I have.

My truck sets the level, and the ride is fantastic; you are not fatigued on long road trips.

The king shocks are expensive but worth the money.

I didn't have the coin when I put my suspension in but have the money saved for when these shocks wear out.

Do the Thuren rear springs and back it up with Carli's long travel airbags?

I ran Thuren’s shock package with Carli’s leaf packs and bags on my 2nd Gen.

The truck rode fantastic, towed my 12k toy hauler, and handled whoops at 50+ mph after I aired the bags down.
