    Desired Voltage On MM3?

I've noticed that my ECM voltage gradually drops within the past couple of days.

After driving for 2 hours, it dropped from 14.375 to almost 14.188.

The thing is that this voltage matches up with the voltage desired PID.

Does the desired value change to a lower value when it thinks it can't reach a higher value?

Or does the ECM voltage drop to meet the new lowered desired value?

Why is the desired value dropping slowly if it's the second option?

    I have a 2017 RAM 2500 for reference.

I cleaned all the posts on my batteries, and I couldn't see anything unplugged or loose from a top-down look.

Re: Desired Voltage On MM3 Tuner

    Mine does it too.

I think it is to float the batteries to full charge.

The weaker or more depleted the batteries are, the higher the voltage initially.

They eventually dropped down to float voltage when the batteries were charged fully or approximately 13.8 volts.

At least, that is how mine seems to respond.

I generally see peak voltages at 14.8 Mabee 15 volts when the batteries are bad.
