Replacing Rear Fuel Filter With FASS Lift Pump

I wondered if it is still required to replace the rear fuel filter during the standard maintenance period while using an external lift pump like a FASS or Airdog?

It's my understanding that the fuel return still goes through this filter, even though I've replaced the OEM front fuel filter with a Fleece distribution block.

If so, is there a kit to delete this rear filter?

The return goes straight into the tank from the motor.

The supply goes to the filter from the tank, and that’s not used anymore if you’re using a FASS.

All you have to do is unplug and unbolt the housing. 2 13mm nuts on the backside.
