    Projector To Quad Harness Adapter

My 2014 Laramie has factory projectors that Im, not a fan of.

    I've never liked projectors.

I have a set of smoked oem quads i want to install. I like the light spectrum alot better with LEDs.

Where can I get a harness adapter connecting the pigtail to the light?

I know retrofit sells a quad to a projector for close to 200$, but I don't need all the crap on it.

Indeed this isn't something I have to rig or pay 200$ for.

It's sort of an odd move IMO.

Did you try HIDs in your projectors before going back to the Quad reflector housing?

I had LEDs in my last truck (1500) with quad lamps, and they were an improvement over stock, but the HIDs in my current projectors are way better.

The stock projectors w/ stock bulbs are terrible, though.

These quads are from my last truck.

I had led's in them, and honestly, I could not imagine or need anything brighter.

The bulbs in these projectors are the top tier, but they are still a joke.

I've looked into some hid's and the best, and from what I've read, 55w are what's optimal?

What are the pros and cons of HID and isn't LED the newer technology of the two?

I have 35w HID’s with 5k (pure white) in my projectors, and they light up the road well.

I had the reflector-type lights in my other truck with LED’s, and yes, they are bright; they also blinded oncoming vehicles because the beam pattern couldn’t be adjusted right.

I had them adjusted down, and I still got the high beam flash from oncoming cars.

Personally, in my opinion, projectors with HID are the way to go.

I bought the HID kit from Diode Dynamic’s a few years ago, but I don’t think they sell the HID kits anymore the last time I looked.

I have MoriMoto HIDs in my factory projectors and love them.

No way I'd go with a quad over the projector!
