    ALFAOBD ISSUE

I've tried posting in other forums, but no one in the Jeep community uses alfa ODB.

I have used it with my ram for many things, and it works great. Long story short, I attempted to program tire size on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL, and it took the tire size, but the ABS Initialization procedure is greyed out and won't let me do it, thus giving me traction control and abs lights.

Any help would be great. I did email AFLAOBD as well.

    Thanks, guys

    Re: ALFA OBD ISSUE

I am wondering if maybe you are not able to communicate with the ABS module for some reason.

Hopefully, ALFA OBD support will have some answers and a fix.

    Please keep us posted.

    Re: ALFA OBD ISSUE

I wondered the same thing, but all other actions in the BCM, ABS, ECM all work as expected.

I was able to reset ABS, clear rolling codes, and other functions. I was able to find a post on some other ram forum a user had the same issue, but the post was 1200+ pages long for everything ALFAODB related.

I read about 30 pages of unrelated content before giving up. I will keep you all posted.

I found it very odd almost no one uses alfa in the jeep community.

    Re: ALFAOBD ISSUE

Alfa support says that I run the steps in that pic I attached (greyed out one).

I got the abs lights off but now have traction control light on says I need to run multi axis acceleration procedure.

I have looked in every module and can not find this. I have code C006A multiple axis acceleration sensor calibration missing calibration.

Also, have engine light for u0432 multi-axis acceleration sensor calibration, and u0418 front brake module test not complete.

    I'm getting stumped here.

    Re: ALFAOBD ISSUE

Well, I kept messing around with it and got it figured out.

I ran the following in this order.

Reset ECU Initialization, cycle key (fresh start)

    Static ECU Initialization,

    Calibrated the brake pedal module,

    Sensor cluster calibration, cycle key

Once I calibrated both of those, I cleared all DTCs in ABS and ECM.

Run clearing rolls information cycle key off and now has no lights.

Check for codes, and it's good now.

The codes I had were for the multi-axis acceleration sensor(G sensor) found it can also be listed as longitudinal sensor calibration.

Either I don't have a G sensor or the sensor cluster calibration is shown in the pic calibrated.

Good job, glad you figured it out.

ALFA OBD is powerful software, and it’s easy to get into trouble if you are not careful.

    Thanks for the information.
