Were you deleted when you took it to dealer?
If I go in deleted and tuned they will rewrite over my tune?
Correct?
Then it will be in limp mode till I come to dealer and reprogram with my EZ Lynk?

I was not deleted, I waited until after the recall to install the delete.
If I was deleted, I would have replaced the pump myself.
I will never take my truck to the dealer.
When they did the delete they took 3 days, left the truck with greasy hand prints all over the fenders, and grill, and broke a couple of plastic clips that hold wiring in place.
I just had the recall completed on my 19'; I was on the list for over six months, in case anyone monitors the wait time.
Wait times are about to go a lot further out again.
Once again, we got limited to ordering one pump kit a week.
As of last week, we had 153 trucks on the wait list at the dealership I work at.
If you get a pump failure and need a whole system replacement, you bypass the list, and they bring us a kit within a week or two.

My dealer wants me to bring in my 19 for the recall; they know it's deleted.
My advisor said they don't care if it's deleted, and after they are done programming it, they will let me in the back to reflash with my EZ Lynk.
I called Optimal, and they said tuning would work fine with the recall.
I am very skeptical about getting the recall done, seeing I have 70k with no issues yet.
I keep reading most tuners can't write over the new Flash.
Does anyone have Optimal tuning with the recall done yet?
