At what point in modifications should you get your truck re-tuned?
My truck was tuned presumably when he deleted and studded the truck.
Since I bought it, I have removed the EGR system and added a CAI and a FASS 150.
In my mind, I wouldn't need to until i upgrade the CP3, Injectors, and turbo.

You are correct.
Other factors could include trans modifications, specific sensors on/off (CCV sensor disable), tune for different MAF scales (5” intake).
