    Low Def Light

Right before fixing my truck, the low def light came on.

I wasn’t concerned about refilling it since it was about to go to 100% complete all the time.

Now the gauge shows full, but the dang light comes on and stays on all the time.

I thought it might just be a check that would cure itself, but that’s not working out real well.

Will a battery disconnect cause it to run the proper check and turn off the light, or something else I can do to make it stop?

You could try that and see if that fixes the issue.

From what I understand, you’re still completely stock, and the def was showing empty now the needle shows full, but the light is still on?

    No, it was deleted.

Def tank is still there but is almost empty, physically.

Tuner set the gauge to full.

You could try disconnecting both batteries, and the tie-wrap the negative and positive leads together for a while.

If clearing the memory doesn’t work, you may need to scan all modules to find and remove the code.

I think it may be stored in the dosing control module, but I could be wrong.

    Please keep us posted.

I was thinking, and if the dosing control module set that light, you wouldn’t be able to communicate with that module now because you are deleted.

If clearing the memory doesn’t work, I would reach out to your tuner for advice.
