What Is This For?

Does anyone know what this plug is for?

It’s on the passenger side, attached to the back wall.

It has two orange wires, one with a green tracer and one with a purple tracer.

The purple tracer wire is a darker orange than the green tracer.

It probably has something to do with the different back window options (power slider, defroster, rocket launcher).

Usually, they'll use the same harness for all the models, but only specific models will use all the plugs.

Yea, I knew they used the same wire harness.

I’d just like to know what options I have to upgrade with, LOL.

The power slider makes sense.

2014 RAM 3500 (Aisin) 3.73 4X4 Limited Crew Cab Long Bed DRW. Oil Bypass Filter, Fuel Filtration Kit, and 50 Gallon Aux Fuel Tank.

Check your fuse box to see if it has the spot for the power slider window relay; you'll also need to make sure you have the plug where the factory switch goes.

This wire harness goes up the pillar toward, and I'll have to look above the headliner to see.

I don't have the map lights, so that I could add that upper centerpiece as well!! Sweet, then I'll get a built-in garage door opener too!!!

This is 2011 2500 SLT, so I'm all about adding as much as I can.

I'm currently in the works of adding leather heated/cooled seats all around, and they came out of 2013.

The rear seats are heated, so I'll have to figure out a way to make them work as this truck doesn't have that plug.

Nice, those will be a significant upgrade.

Cheaper than buying a newer, fully loaded truck
