Esc Light On After Leveling Kit

Hey guys, I installed a Thuren 2.25 leveling kit in my 21 3500 SRW HO/ Aisin.

My steering wheel is about a 1/4 off-center.

I went to drive it after installation; about 2 miles into the drive, the ESC light came on the dash; I’ve been reading that the wheel being off will cause this?

If so, once I get the truck aligned & the wheel straight, will the light go off on its own?

Or is it something that has to be reset by a dealer?

The truck only has 120 miles on it, and it was fine before leveling kit, so it would make sense that the wheel not being centered would cause it.

I love the truck, but man, I miss my old 12v w/o all this electronic crap!

    Likely this:

Steering angle sensor - The sensor may require calibration but could also be these known causes.

Brake light switch - A defective brake light switch can trigger the ESC light.

Bad wheel speed sensor - Clean or replace the ABS sensor.

ABS, ESP, ESC, DSC module malfunction - Needs to be correctly diagnosed.

I would inspect the truck's front to make sure something didn't get pulled loose when you installed the leveling kit.

My wheel is off-center as well, and I have never had a problem.

I remember how far I had to lower the front axle to get the leveling kit in; that's where I would look first; centering the steering wheel is an easy fix if it bothers you.
