Thread: ABS/Traction Control Issue

    Question ABS/Traction Control Issue

Recently while driving down a flat dry paved road, the traction control light will start flashing, and you can feel the brakes engaging. You can also hear that sound it makes when the abs are kicking in.

It happened the other day as I was coming to a stop at a red light and the brake pedal felt like how it does when you're trying to stop on ice/snow, and the abs are kicking in.

Any ideas why or what could be wrong?

It doesn't do it every day, just randomly, and at this time, it happens around 30-40mph.

It could be a wheel sensor issue.

Did you scan the ABS module for trouble codes?
