    RAM 2500 - 35s Vs. 37s?

    I have a 2014 RAM 2500 with a 4" Pro Comp Lift, 35x12.5r20 tires, and 20" wheels with an offset of 18.

I wanted to know if anyone has experience and issues from a similar setup to 37s?

    Any before/after pics?

I feel like 37s will just fit the truck better with the current height, but I wanted to explore possible issues and any differences before pulling the trigger.

I appreciate any help you can provide!

I would be regearing if you go to 37's.

It is terrible enough on 35's with the 3.42's

Add a bit of extra power, and the 68RFE is not going to be happy.

The transmission just got rebuilt with a Sonnax unit and beefed up a little bit, heavier-duty components.

    I assume that'll help a little?

I would hope it would help a bit, but basically, the 3.42 gears are still horrible on larger tires.

I would spend the money to regear if going with 37's because you'll be lugging like crazy.

    What would you regear to?

I get excellent gas mileage as-is, and to my understanding, regearing will impact that, yes?

As per Revmax recommendations with 3.42's.

You shouldn't go over 33's if you want 35-37.

It's recommended to regear due to the weaknesses of the 68RFE's even when built.

    I'd at least do 3.73's.

Yea, with the built trans, you may not have a problem with it breaking, but you'll still have a hard time keeping revs up in the powerband with those 3.42 gears (>1600rpm).

You'll probably never want to hit 6th unless you're going 90mph.
