How Do I Program A New Gear Ratio?

    Hello friends,

What's the best way to program gear ratio into my truck?

I replaced the 3.42 ratio with 4.10 and I need to correct that setting in ECM/time.

    Can I use ALPHAOBD?

I have an MM3 programmer so should I have the program writer make that correction?

17' 2500 Crew Cab 4x4 6.7L with MM3 by Tyler at T&K Performance , Revmax 700 68RFE , Industrial Injection Silver 69 Turblower, BBI Stage 1.5 injectors, Fleece PowerFlo 750 CP3, Fleece PowerFlo lift pump ARP 625 head studs, Hamilton Valve Springs & Pushrods FLEECE POWERFLOW 10MM coming off this weekend and S&S 12mm going on..

    You don’t need to.

The transmission gets its speed data from input and output shaft speed, and the Speedo receives its data from the wheel speed sensors.

The only way I know is to add it to the sales code in the BCM, but it’s not needed again.

The question is, where did you get the 4.10 gear?
