I keep getting a U1421 code, sometimes followed by a P0513 code.
Everything in the truck shuts off, and all my dash lights start flashing, and wipers start going off engine keeps running and
I can keep driving.
It’s starting to happen more haven’t been able to find anything online.
Any help is appreciated.

Make sure the connections and cables are not corroded and are clean and tight.

We’ll I clean terminals and checked all grounds and nothing the past couple of days, so I’ll keep an eye on it and see if it does it again.

A TSB,18-037-16a, flashes the PCM and lists your DTC as one of the issues it is designed to address.
The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors when the ignition is in the off or accessory position between critical cycles.
It then broadcasts the signal called Ignition Off Time (IOT) via the CANC Bus.
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) saves the value from a previous key cycle into a power-down flash and if certain 'When Monitored' conditions are met to the current value.
If the 'Set Conditions' are met, a fault U1421 is set, indicating the timer is stuck.
If this fault becomes active, the PCM will light the MIL light immediately.
If the MIL is set and the fault goes stored, the PCM turns off the MIL after three consecutive drive cycles.
I found this info on another forum I'm part of.
Maybe this will be helpful.
Like I mentioned from another member.
All grounds contacts etc.
Check all wires and PCM where it connects; I believe you can unplug the PCM and check.
It's the primary connection for any corrosion etc.
Not sure how, as I haven't done that on the newer gen trucks.

Hey's been a few months since I posted this, but I wanted to update you.
I have had the issue again a few times, so I went digging the other day found a wire harness and connector behind the front left wheel; well, not sure what it powers, but I found several wires exposed in there on both sides, so believe that could be the issue will keep everyone posted when repaired.

I asked about those harnesses in a forum before finding this one, and no one said anything.
Do you have two harnesses there?
One resembles the two that come with the upfitter pkg under the hood?

I only have one harness like that right there and then two smaller ones, both only two wires been looking everywhere to figure out what they are for and tried to trace them only to lose track of it.
