Weak Airflow On High On AC Or Heat

My airflow on my AC and Heat is weak, in my opinion, compared to my work power stroke.

Is this normal for a 2014 Cummins, or should I dig into the system to check for blockage?

What do you mean by weak?

Is it hardly blowing air in all vent positions or just a particular one?

Hard to describe airflow without using a flow meter.

I also have a 2014 but don’t have a power stroke to compare it with.

I would say the airflow is sufficient but doesn’t exactly blow your hair around.

I took some photos with the air set to blow forward, and all the vents open on setting 1, 3, and 7 with a piece of notepaper attached to try and give you some idea.

Does your truck have a cabin air filter?

If not the evap core is probably clogged.

    Super common issue.

If you find out it is the evap core install a cabin air filter kit when you swap it out.

Did you recently buy this truck?

Do you know anyone that has a similar truck to compare?

Look in the glove box back and see if you have a cab filter.

    You will see a door/flap.

Lookup on Google or youtube on how to open.

If you don't have a cab filter, @genos garage sells the kit so you can install one.

It's not that hard of a job.

Due to destructive fires in my area and going on a long road trip in many states with deadly fires.

The ash and junk in the air affected my airflow, and I changed out the filter.

The filter had less than 5k miles on it prior.
