Amsoil Engine Status

It's been a couple of weeks since my Amsoil "soot" flush and lube, and it amazes me how clean the oil is.

I changed the oil after the weight loss.

Drove around one day and then poured the Amsoil engine flush in.

The less than one-day-old oil was solid black.

Put in fresh oil until clear, and screwed in the drain plug.

Poured in fresh oil and spun on another new filter.

After driving around, the oil looks fabulous.

I will update the oil color/clarity after interstate driving to/from work in a week.

I believe I posted an update elsewhere.

But the oil only has a slight dark tinge.

Nice to know the truck isn’t engulfing its own xxxx anymore.
