4th Gen High Clearance Front Bumper Questions/Help

I want to get a front bumper winch capable.

Something that doesn't stick out past grill so much it looks like a fat lip.

I want a higher clearance type; I wouldn't say I like the lower bumpers than an OEM bumper.

I want something that offers some grill protection.

    The other concern is weight.

Having the coils, I don't know how they perform or how much they will squat in the front at how much weight?

I like, for example, the Thuren front bumper and the unlimited chassis bumper.

They don't offer much grill protection.

So the coils, what can I expect if I added, say, 200 to 250 pounds on front coils?

Side note: I hauled two pallets of wood pellets in the back of my truck which are 4000lbs total.

They were placed on both sides of the axle.

I measured the squat for fun.

The first pallet was 3/4 inch and the 2nd pallet added was just over 1 1/2 inches.
It drove smoother, which I figured since it's a long bed.

If you have some thoughts or knowledge on my questions.

    I appreciate your words.

    Thanks,
    Justin

Have 2018 2500 with a stock bumper, but a heavy 16.5 warn winch and transformer mounting platform.

I wanted the 2.0 level, ended up needing to get the 2.75 coils with Fox resi after talking to their customer service, and I am glad I did because and still only netted about 2.25 inches.

I could bottom out on the stock springs going across a big dip at any actual speed but have yet to do so since adding the thuren setup, but yes, the weight is noticed when it's on the nose of the truck.

    Thanks for the info.

The 2.25 thuren set up I have is supposed to give around 2.75 inch lift being a 3500 is 1/2 taller than a 2500

So thanks for giving me some info.

Probably not related but I put a Warn Winch on my Bronco many years ago and the tires started cupping.

Rotated them constantly, and they still cupped on the outside edges.

Maybe it's the Bronco suspension, dunno.

    I'd ask around about it.

    Tires are spendy.

Join Dodge trucks extreme on Facebook.

Tons of trucks with Thuren fab suspensions and winch bumpers are used for what the suspension is designed for.

My experience with cupping on a solid front axle truck.

Wrong Tire pressure, rotation interval to long and upper ball joints going bad, but there can be some other wearing parts that can contribute.
