    Seat Upgrade - 2011 SLT RAM 2500

I'm sorry if this is posted anywhere else; I haven't had any luck finding anything.

I have a 2011 SLT 2500, looking to upgrade the seats, currently have a cloth manual.

I have found some sellers on eBay that have leather heated/cooled seats, both in the 09-12 range and a set that is the color I want but the 2014-2019 year range.

Does anyone know, will these seats still fit in my 2011?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You

    Yo SpryGuy.

I searched for OEM leather for my older truck and stumbled across THE SEAT SHOP out of Dallas.

Videos on YouTube sponsored by the sweatshop, a few cold ones, and an easy weekend; I was done and very happy.

    Excellent customer service and options.

My older truck is a single cab daily, and the leather with OEM matched logos and stitching was $750.00.

My cushions were excellent, by the way.

I will use them again on my current 'Big Red' as I just noticed a split starting on that leather!

    Great luck to you

I have no intel on eBay as I'm still scarred from being scammed by someone on a $40.00 purchase there.

    Just an extra .02 there.

Side note, if you go with them, I highly recommend the hog-nosed pliers.

If they don't 'offer' them to you, buy them! Like eight more dollars, but it will be the best purchase you make!! LOL.

Used for rolling the circle clips from the leather to your seat frame to maintain great contours!!

    Cheers!

Thanks for the tips so far.

What I was referring to off of eBay is an actual set of seats from a 2014 truck.

I’m just trying to see if I can physically install them into my 2011?

I imagine the wire harness is the same for those years?

    Mounting locations the same?

    Yes Sir!

Just curious, how much are they offering the seats for?

I have no intel as to your situation and fitment.

I guess I never thought about a wholesale change as you are.

You should post some before and after pics.

I wonder, if you are now manual, if the electric hook up for seat belts is accommodating for the extra features you seek.

Mine is a Laramie and has two connections under the seat, fore, and aft, plus the heat switch on the console.

How would you select heat or cooling then if your current SLT doesn't offer that selection?

$1399-$1799 for the set of seats, depending on which set.

I have a connector under the seat, I would have to add the switches in the dash and probably use AlphaOBD to activate them in the computer.

The seats will bolt down the same only problem is the wiring is different.

I am trying to find a harness that’ll connect to a set of seats I got out of a 2020 for my 11.
