    Help! - 68RFE Trans

    I have a 2016 RAM 3500 4x4 with the 68RFE.

    I'm deleted with trans tuning.

I have 115k on the clock, and the last month my truck will shift hard from 4th to 5th.

There will be a pause, and then it shifts super hard into fifth, shaking the truck and making it feel like I left my trans on the side of the road.

No codes are thrown, the torque converter isn't slipping, and the line pressure is good at 170.

I'm at a loss of where to even start due to no codes.

Any advice is appreciated as I would like to take care of this issue to use my truck without fear of leaving me stranded on the side of the road.

    Thanks

How long has it been deleted, and who tuned it?

It was custom tunes on an MM3.

I can't remember the company, but I can't locate or look them up as they went out of business or went into hiding.

It has 115k on the clock and is tuned at 90k, so about 25k of tuned miles.

I will be retuning with DRD after I do my Second Gen swap but need to figure out my transmission issue before that.

Sounds like after DRD it might be transmission time.

White Ram 2500 4x4 Laramie, Tuned, 625 ARPs, Revmax transmission with a billet input shaft, billet flex plate, Revmax thermal bypass, Revmax deep pan, Revmax billet valve body,
4600 shocks, Airdog 165, ARE shell, Line-X, ICT grid heater delete, Glacier diesel grid heater, stock size tires and wheels, stock suspension, mostly just a stock truck.

First, try reflashing the truck and doing the revmax relearn process and see if it helps out.

When were the last fluid and filter changes?

When you add that extra power if you haven't yet, definitely start looking into building the 68.

    2014 ram slt. 6.8L, s472, ddp supermental 150%'s, 12mm CP3, fleece powerflo, stage 2 d&j head, revmax 700,
