Diesel In Oil - 2006 Cummins

And suddenly, I lost my oil pressure.

It happened when i got home.

It's a bit messy at the backside under the engine.

I could smell fuel, so when i checked the oil level, I noticed it was full of fuel.

    What do you guys think?

I think one or more injectors may be stuck open.

    Hopefully, others will chime in.

    Thanks, bud.

I will look into it and keep posting when i find something.

This may be the punishment for buying cheap injectors on eBay back in 2017.

I think if you have fuel in the oil that it could be an injector issue.

    Thanks.

I’ll let you know when I find something.

Both you and AK Bob think its injector related.

    So do I.

    Yes, thanks, me too.

If the problem is injectors, it will be a simple fix.

    But expensive

I will reach out to our vendors on this forum if I need injectors.

    06 is CP3.

There isn't any way the CP3 could dump to crankcase I there?

    Any recent smoking?

Isn't the CP3 the more reliable unit compared to the newer CP4?

I am just asking for future references.

Yes, FCA had many issues with the CP4 pumps when they switched to them in 2019.

Now for 2021 models, they are back to installing CP3 pumps.
