    Starter Rebuild Option

    I burned up my starter.

The local rebuild shop says that they can't get parts.

Are there options for rebuilding a 2014 starter, or am I looking to purchase a new one?

If a new purchase is in order, what are the recommendations?

    I recommend OEM.

I wouldn’t take the chance on an aftermarket starter.

I would recommend checking the price for a new starter at a Cummins distributor vs. the dealership.

    Please keep us posted.
