So just installed some new gauges on the truck.
As im driving, I notice that the needle on the gauge for the exhaust back pressure just kind of bounces.
Not like a surging kind of bounce, but a bounce like a needle is just free-floating.
When i get on it, and the pressure goes up, it bounces less but still bounces a little bit.
Is this normal?
I also did fuel pressure and boost gauges, and those seem fine with no bouncing.
Also, back pressure seems to be a lot less than boost pressure which I wasn't expecting.
I can try to do a video later on if im not explaining the problem very well.
Also, the truck has a second-gen swap.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
