    2008 6.7L Cummins Injector Help!

    Need new injectors for a 08 6.7L.

    Looking to do 100% overs.

I’ve been told mixed things about this, but I’m on a RaceME Ultra Tuner running a 200hp tune.

Will I be fine with that tuning for this injector size, or will custom tuning be needed?

    Need injectors ASAP!

Ideally, you'd want to tune for an injector that size.

We only recommend S&S & BBI injectors for CR trucks; feel free to message me if you're interested in a set.

So I could run them, but they wouldn’t perform as I want under wot?

That’s where custom tuning jumps in.

    On an Airdog 200.

I mean you could, I'd avoid WOT as the stock CP3 will never be able to keep up with 200% over's.

    Do you mean 100% overs?

I’m just trying to run around 60-100% over injectors.

I’ll need duals for anything this size and bigger or just the bag of parts for this size over.

I must have misread it, and I could have sworn it said 200%.

It'll run just not as good as it would with tuning for them.

You'd still need to be conscious about draining the rail.

LOL yeah, no, I’m on a 200hp tune with an Airdog 200 but only looking to run a 100% over for now.

And what do you mean by draining the rail?

    Like the relief plug?

Added HP programming + bigger injectors = A lot of demand from the factory CP3 to keep up.

Your lift pump will keep up with the setup.

Your stock CP3 will be working itself to death.

With the injectors, your wanting will pull X amount of fuel.

Your CP3 will only provide Y amount of fuel even with Z amount "Air Dog" backing the CP3.

You will drain the fuel rail "fuel cut" because the CP3 can't keep up with the command of X.

The best bet is to get a modified CP3 33% over or a 10MM CP3.

@DDP was right on the money
