    First Issue Since Tuning

    I have a 17 RAM 2500 I deleted 4000 miles ago.

    Now it has 73000.

Yesterday my check engine light came on with 2 codes.

U010E, which says lost communication with the reluctant control module, and P0868 low transmission fluid pressure.

I went to a diesel shop and they said they couldn't work on it since it's deleted.

I have always worked on my own cars but not really diesel.

So I'm kind of new to it.

    Can anyone help me?

If I remember correctly, the U code has to do with the def, so don't worry about it.

Have you checked your trans fluid?

Has anything been done on your trans lately, fluid filter change?

    No, it's a stock trans.

I guess I haven't changed the filter in 50k miles, and I haven't thought about it.

I will have that done ASAP.

I found something on the other forum from the trans engineer that said it could be the LP sensor or the trans pump.

So with only 73k miles, it has a 100k drivetrain warranty; wouldn't that be covered?

It looks like you are on the right track with the transmission code.

The U010E is perfectly normal on a deleted truck.

Once you delete, you void your warranty.

The fluid pressure could be low fluid, a clogged filter, or a defective valve body.

I'd start with a trans fluid drain & refill with filter change and go from there.
