Key On Not Detected - 2020 RAM 2500 Lonestar

    I just got a 2020 RAM 2500 Lonestar.

I plugged it in, and I can turn it on by tapping the screen, but it will tell me to turn the key to the on position regardless of its position.

I can read PIDs off the ECM with AlfaOBD, and I have other devices plugged into the OBD that work fine with the BCU.

Specifically a viper alarm and police light flasher.

RaceME Canada hasn't figured it out, so now I'm turning to you guys for help.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do next?

Sorry, bud, I read this some time ago.

I'm guessing that nobody has seen this issue.

It may be necessary to check the pinout at the OBD port for power at ign.

I wouldn't know how to diagnose this issue at a distance.

Does anyone know anything that might help?

Been doing more and more and more research on these new vehicles and how they work.

I finally figured out the ECMS can be pulled off and flashed on a bench by crimping wires to a few individual pins, which I am currently doing.

Getting the same results, though, I can't tell if it's a faulty ECU or if there's a version of it with different software than everyone else has had the luck of having.

The truck has 244 miles, and i picked it up from a train yard with 2 on the odometer; I can't imagine I broke anything just driving it home.

    Idk anything about it.

Just gotta dig to find it.

However, if you did, then why?
