Finally had time to upgrade my stock quad headlights.

The past 2 years I had headlight revolution v.2 led bulbs in the stock housing and they were great and made to work for the reflector style housings.

I wanted something black with projector lenses and led with a better cut off line.

I got a 20% off deal for alpharex luxx (led) headlights.

Really impressed on appearance when I first got them.

I've taken headlights out on 4th gens a few times so I didn't think it would be a pain. LOL.

There were some small issues but its all good just took a bit longer to install.

From the box.

The issue that I had and read online that some have is the is the factory socket for blinker.

Take out factory bulb and plug in the male connector on the

Alpharex housing. It wouldn't fit and I had to file down

The plastic Grey guides in the socket as seen in the picture.

After filing down the connection is solid and pops in like normal.

Main hi low socket plugs right in just as the factory would. Don't forget to slide the lock catch after the plugs are connected.

When installing the headlights make sure that this bottom headlight mount is completely flat with no gaps the bolt should be all the way down and tight.

There is a lock washer that if you do not hold it as you

Tighten the bolt it will spin up.

It's reverse thread for the washer.

To get the washer down and seat and lock with its tab, turn it lefty.

Should look like this.

The headlight top edge should be flush with no gaps, and snug with the weather stripping.

Installed

Cutoff line out of the box. I will need to adjust lights

After I put on my thuren lift that I'm doing this Monday.

Don't forget to use some dialetric grease on all connections.

Plus before you hard install make sure the lights function properly.

The Alpharex rex lights came with a full time DRL harness and I did not install this and nor sure if I will.

The DRL lights top and bottom row white light.

Work if when you switch to running lights.

The bottom white DRL is a switch back and turns bright amber for the blinker.
