MM3 Tuner - Newer Style?

I purchased an mm3 tuner from a company a couple of weeks back.

I installed their tunes and didn't like them, so went to a reputable tuner instead?

Install their tunes and have a blank screen on my radio, and remote start doesn't work.

My question is on the module that connects the USB. Is it suppose to be 2 pieces that connect, or did they come out with a new style that is just one big long module now?

Your remote start won’t work if you have any stored trouble codes.

I would recommend scanning all modules for trouble codes.

You may need a higher-end scanner as the MM3 will not scan all modules.

On the radio, I would try a factory reset.

When I unplug it from the OBD port, the radio comes back on.

That’s what is confusing.

Does the radio shut off when you plug anything else into the ODB port, other than the MM3?

That’s the only thing that I have to plug in there.

I never had anything else plugged in.

If you don’t own a scan tool and don’t want to purchase one, I suggest going to Autozone or similar parts store and having them pull codes for you; while they are doing that, see if the radio shuts off.

If they find codes write them down, then clear the codes and see if your remote works.

Radio works fine with the scanner plugged in.

Been in contact with MM3, hoping to hear from them soon.
