Quest For A New 35 Inch Tires On 20 Inch Rims

So I’m about due for some new tires.

I tow on long trips with the camper about 6-8 times a year.

I have now been through two sets of 35” TOYO Open Country M/Ts. I

Have to say I love this tire; it wears great, lasts long, and looks aggressive as all get out, and actually not that loud.

When I bought the truck, the previous owner put BMF 20” rims, I do like it, but my ideal situation would be 17-18” rims with 35” tires.

I like more meat, and you have a lot more options on tires with a smaller rim.

I’m gonna keep the rims, so has anyone found a good All-terrain that tows good and lasts long on these CTDs?

I heard from Discount tire not to go with the new BFGs KO2s made for a lighter truck, and our weight will eat those tires up.

What have you guys found?

I got ruffly 45k out of this set and still got a good bit left.

I’m always up for trades too.

Anyone run the patriot tires yet?

I have the Falken Wildpeaks on 18” rims.

Excellent wear, long-lasting, and tows great.

I run Toyo open country ATII, ran the last set for 40k miles still had tread when it took off.

Tow great dry or wet conditions.

I tow heavy also (21k pounds).

I changed 6 months ago to the ATIII Toyo, seem to be as good of a tire as the previous ones, but I only have had them long enough for one rotation.

So we will see.
