Is it true?
(Gear selection mode being locking out 5th or setting it 6th to watch what gear the trans is in.)
"Another thing that alters lockup is the tow/haul mode and gear selection mode, like you, stated above.
Both will increase max line pressure, which makes for a firmer shift."
