After waiting four hours, the recall was performed.

No compromised wheel studs were found.

No label or card to correct the specifications listed in the user's guide was given or available.

I was informed by the service technician that I needed to cross out the information and write in 129 Ft-Lbs for my flanged lug nuts.

Since I have the Alcoa aluminum wheels, I asked about the re-torque requirement and was told that is the owner's responsibility.

So much for dealership customer service.
They probably don’t have the cards.

They have to order them, and they are taking a while to get.

We haven’t received our cards yet, and we ordered them when the recall was released.

I’ll gladly send you one when we get them if you like.

What do you mean by the re-torque requirement?

Checking torque after x amount miles?

There’s no re-torque requirement listed in the recall.

I have a feeling most dealers are going to half this recall.

Chrysler is not paying techs near enough time to recall the way they wrote it and not lose money.

Thanks, I appreciate the kind offer.

I have made the correction to my owner's manual, so it should be okay.

On the re-torque requirement, I was curious because, in my past experience with tire shops, they always requested that I return after 50 miles for a re-torque, especially due to the aluminum wheels.

Since the dealership had to remove my wheels to inspect the studs, I was expecting them to request me to return for a re-torque for liability reasons.

I am relieved that I don’t need to return and will be checking them myself.
