    19+ HO Aisin Fuel Economy

So what is everyone with a High Output getting for fuel economy?

I seem not to get any better than 17 tuned.

    Sounds good to me.

The best I am seeing 14.5 hand calculated tuned (see truck information in signature).

Re: 19+ HO Aisin Fuel Economy

I have an '18 HO tuned with Aisin and 3.42 axle ratio, and I typically see around 20-20.5 on the highway with the +90 tune with stock size highway tires (Mine has 20" wheels).

I recently switched to stock size Toyo Mud Terrains, and now I see about 18.5 on the highway, same setting.

Tires, lift, gearing and DRW can make a huge difference.

Towing is a different matter altogether.

    I tow a 10k lb 5'er.

The relatively flat ground at 60 mph, I can get 14 mpg.

Out on I-80 in Nevada at 80 mph with a good headwind, it drops to around eight mpg.

The price you pay for power.

That's pretty much what I got 100% stock.

Also, I've just got 6k miles on the truck right now.

I have seen some trucks get better after 7.5k.

Tires do make a massive difference, and I don't think people factor in often enough when they talk about MPG from truck to truck, other than size.
