The top is usually snug then 2 full rotations, and the lower is usually 100 ft-lbs.

Hey, Joe wants about the backs also?
Plus, can I do this with the truck being lifted off the ground?
The weight of the truck on the springs, and I take the bolts out of the lower part of the shocks and then top on the ground?
Back shocks are 100 ft-lbs as well.
I like to get them snug but then do the final torque with the truck on the ground.

They're the same on torque specs.
I always hand tight/snug while it's in the air and do final torque after it's on the ground.

I just did everything on the ground, and then I torque them down to 100lbs.
The Shocks felt really good, and I went with the Bilstein B8 5160.
I was surprised by how much of a difference they make.
I kind of wonder if the King made a shock for the 2020?
Joe, if I am using the Bilstein 5160 6" with a reservoir for the front, what is the rear shock supposed to be?
What do you mean?
The rear application is usually 2" less if that's what you're referring to.

They show to have 2 versions for the rear one is for 2in and the other is for 4in
25-285727 for the 2 inch
25-285734 for the 4 inch
Extended Length (IN): 26.73 for 2 inch
Extended Length (IN): 28.23 for 4 inch
I'm thinking the 2in because it's close to what the truck has now, but then overthinking it, 4 would give me a 1.xx more travel but could have issues being compressing more fluid and not having proper travel.
How much lift do you have in the rear?
