4th Gen PS Pump Replacement Tips?

Planning on putting a new PS pump on my 2010 tomorrow.

Any tips or tricks for the job?

What’s the best route to get the pump out?

I would either pull the intake to take it out the top or take the inner fender out to get it out the side.

Wound up, taking the intake horn off and pulling it through the top.

It wasn’t too bad, except I think the problem is worse.

The new pump still makes noise, and it will occasionally nearly lock the steering up in an intersection.

    Damn junk Cardone pump.

Maybe round two will be better.
