    Question Intermittent Turbo Actuator Issue

Gotta a problem with my turbo actuator losing communication.

It's not the actuator as it's been tested on another similar truck.

Any clues what it could be.

    Electrical issues, I'd assume.

Check the plug connection and the wiring harness for any broken or frayed wires.

I had these issues after removing some things.

It ended up being a plug I forgot to disconnect on a box on the passenger side of the frame.

Check the harness portion front of the block near the alternator and down the side to the turbo.

They commonly get damaged there near the oil pressure sensor.

Poor routing and wire movement over time.

I rewrapped and protected mine on my 2011 with 120K when I got it and was in there anyway.
