New Noise From Engine Compartment

Today I noticed a slight rattle sound coming from the engine compartment.

I popped the hood, and it sounds like it is coming from the pulleys on the accessories.

My first thought is possibly a belt tensioner. My truck has almost 30k miles on it now.

Which is low for 2015.

Just curious if anyone else has had this noise and what the fix was.

Water pump?

There was a recall on some of the pumps concerning a fire hazard because it missed a weep hole.

My 2016 had one of the bad pumps, and the dealership replaced it.

Also, check your idler pulley.

I have had the water pump recall done about 1-2 years ago.
