Pressure Control Kit For The 68RFE?

Hey, I am looking for any advice on these kits.

I have 2012 entirely deleted and tuned 2500 and am looking for things to make my transmission last long and take on more power.

I plan to change the tuner to MM3 from DRD and can't afford what they suggest, which would be a torque converter and body valve.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

They work; it's a good option for customers that don't want to do a valve body.

Even BD will tell you that it's a "band-aid" type thing compared to a valve body.

Protect a kit is a waste of money.

If your valve body channel plate is warped to a point, you need a gasket like what’s in the protect kit.

The SSV valve is going to be worn as well.

Much better off saving your money till you can get a complete valve body.

    Totally agree.

I have a 2012 and did the Protect kit years ago to get increased line pressure.

I believe it actually increased wear, and I ended up with cross leak and pressure sensor codes.

I then installed a RevMax valve body, and all is well ever since.

Save your money for a valve body.

No expert, just my experience and opinion.
