Spray the seat with a static guard.

It has been so long, but i had a 7.3 idi that did this.
There was actually a solution that I know related to discharging the truck of a static charge, but it is long-winded and complicated.
Not worth it.

Mine pops me most times when I get out and grab the door to shut it.
It doesn't hurt, but i have no idea why it does it.
