4th Gen Vs. 5th Gen RAM - 2500 Truck Bed?

Will a 2020 RAM 2500 bed fit on my 2014?

I'm looking to trade my flatbed for one, and I'm not sure if it’ll fit.

If your flatbed is on a real "cab and chassis," the frames are different.

The cab and chassis are flat and parallel at 36" for upfitters gear, i.e., service boxes, etc.

While the RAM light-duty truck frames may be wider and have a whoop around the rear axle and sometimes even get narrower in the read (leaf spring or trailing arm links form a trapezoid shape) to keep the rear axle stable.

If you have 2500, sure, it will fit; if it's a 3500 SRW, certain it will fit.

If you have a flatbed on a regular truck chassis (not cab and chassis, i.e., incomplete vehicle), I am certain it would bolt right on.
