Alright, so I've got a 74 c20 that I put a 12 valve into.

I ran about a year with 7mm delivery valves, 5x.012 injectors, borg warner s362sxe with a .7 turbine housing, 19 degrees of timing.

I bought a stage 2 hamilton head and installed it over Easter weekend, I took it out for a test drive, and the truck runs terribly.

Before putting the head on, a full power pull would result in about 1500 egt, 43 psi boost, and a dyno verified 380hp 777ftlbs.

With the new head, a full power pull results in way more smoke, and it pegs my 1600 degree EGT gauge.

My butt dyno also says were not pulling as hard.

Having put it on an actual dyno.

It is not a strict a vs. b test either, and the other variance is i put the thin injector washer in instead of the medium this time now.

Obviously, my trucks are asking for more air, and I know the hamilton head not having a swirl ramp decreases the turbulence in the chambers.

Is the tight turbine housing on my turbo hurting the power and negating all benefits of the head?

I've got no way to measure backpressure either.
