    RAM Mega Cab Storage Box

I feel like the stock mega cab storage box waste a lot of space.

The thick, awkward-shaped plastic box seems poorly done.

Here is my set up from left to right I have:

    • National Luna smart solenoid for their dual battery kit.
    • ARB twin air compressor
    • Firestone Tires 3 gallon air tank to run air tools
    • an auxiliary battery that has a fused connection for connecting to the camper house battery.

It is all bolted to a 3/4 inch piece of birch bolted to the truck's body utilizing the factory holes/bolts for the storage box I took out.

It can all be removed by taking out the 3 bolts and unplugging the wires.

The seats still fold up and function with all items installed, though.

Who else pulled out the box?

Some sell a safe to go back there, but it’s over a grand.

With the seat up or the platform over it, it is pretty quiet.

No louder than the under mount compressor for the airbags.

I normally turn on the compressor to fill the air tank while still driving and it doesn't ever disturb the dogs that are laying right above it.
