    CP3 Fuel Line Knowledge

I need to know where I believe a low-pressure fuel line coming off the CP3 goes.

It’s the only one with a banjo bolt.

I believe this line is weeping cause I always get a couple of two-three drops of fuel on my concrete when I start the truck in the morning and let it idle to warm up.

    Any help would be appreciated.

PS: I run my finger down that line a get residual fuel on my finger; why I believe this the one.

The banjo bolt pictured is the low-pressure return line.

You may want to check the torque; it should be 18 Ft/Lbs.

If correctly torqued, you may need to replace the sealing washers.

The line goes back to the fuel tank; I believe it is also connected to another line at the rear of the cylinder head from the injector pressure limiting valve, but don’t quote me on that.

    Hopefully, others will chime in.

    Thank you, sir.

I assumed it went back to the tank, but you know what assuming does.

    Appreciate the input.

Just find out that my fuel pump is leaking too.

It's hard to tell from where the leak comes exactly.

Have to wait till next Sunday for further inspection.

How bad the repair could be?

    Hopefully it’s something simple.

    Please keep us posted.
