    Which Transmission?

Ok here we go I know there will be many different answers, so when I got my truck it was tuned and deleted just don't know which tune.

Now when getting up to 75 if I didn't take my time the check engine light would come on and be for OD 5th and 6th now it doesn't even shift into them.

So the day old question is should I rebuild or get a new built one?

Eventually I would like to increase the hp but probably no more then 700.

If get a pre-built who should I go with?

    Revmax 700 signature series.

Supposedly good to 700-800, but there are plenty that run em with more than that.

I beat the living he377 out of mine and she keeps on ticking.

Ok I shall get his tunes as well, should I look into getting anything beside the input billet and flex plate?

Also I when I get it installed do I have to reflash the transmission before I install the tuner or should install the tuner before I get it installed?

Here is what I had built.

    RevMax 700 68RFE w/Thermostatic Bypass
    - Torque converter - triple w ultra low stall
    - Flex plate - billet
    - 68RFE filter kit
    - 68RFE cooler bypass
    - Line Pressure Sensor

Install trans, flash the truck, drive it easy for 500 miles.

Then drive it like you stole it.

I've had my 700 Revmax for over a year and no issues.

I've got about 50ish 4x4 launches through her and hasn't skipped a beat.

I have the bypass and the billet steel center support and 4th clutch housing.

I also have the 17 blade low stall converter.

    2014 ram slt. 6.8L, s472, ddp supermental 150%'s, 12mm CP3, fleece powerflo, stage 2 d&j head, revmax 700,

I'm in Michigan so I had to pay a $600 shipping fee.

Then for the trans itself with all the extra options it was $9915 not including the core charge since it gets refunded.

Then my friend's at grandmas speed shop put the trans in for me it was a 9 hour job and they gave me a discount on labor.

So it was $65 an hour so $585 then 25 quarts of ATF 4 was $230.

I also got a new trans cooler which was $380 so total I spent was $11.710k
