    Re: Losing Oil Pressure

I can almost bet that’s what it could be cause.

I got the block from industrial and they left out a bunch of freeze plugs they left out the 2 on the back of the block behind the transmission mount and found out the hard way.

When I started it and lost all the oil from there.

Do you know what size that plug is, but work out of town and done so I’ll have to wait till Friday to check and see.

    The dealership can get them.

I don’t know what size it is.

They are only a couple bucks.

You can put it in with the cam gear on just need to pull the front cover.

I’ll look at that Friday and I was ready hoping I didn’t have to pull the cam.

Oh, boy! Looks a little tight.

Wondering if you will gain any more room rotating the cam gear clockwise a little?

Anyone used the neoprene expansion plugs cause I’m thinking that will be easier to use than trying to drive a steel one in I just don’t want it to come out and have fun in my gears and such

I only did one with the cam in place - I started checking them after that LOL.

But what I did was unbolt the cam retainer rotate it out of the way then I moved the cam a little bit forward don’t try to move it too much though.

That gave me enough room to hammer it in with a round punch.

I had to “walk” it in though couldn’t hit it flush due to the cam gear.
