    Radiator Overflow Tank

Not sure how “urgent” this is, so to speak...

Any thoughts as to why the rad overflow tank would be full right up to the cap?

The truck is running fine and not overheating.

    The overflow is FULL.

    Thermostat maybe?

Could be your overflow cap is not sealing.

Think I have it figured out too many short trips and I don’t think the truck was actually heating up enough for a full/multiple heat cycles.

Took it for a good rip down the highway and the level dropped in the overflow tank.

    False alarm.

    Great News!

Those Long Road trips (65-75mph) for @ least 20min are a very good thing for these 6.7L - especially those that have not lost weight.

I only wish I had a least a 8K lb flat bed - parked beside my house to hook up to at least once a week - to take along on these trips (Just to get things heated up to operating temp) for a decent time.

Glad ya got if figured out!
